I am first and foremost a person saved by grace through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. I am a husband, dad, friend, pastor, student of the Word, road biker, hiker, lazy, and extremely good-looking. There is a struggle in my life to be significant and effective in the Kingdom of God. The struggle is to keep engaged in the extraordinary activity of God while being overwhelmed by mediocre ministry tasks and the mayhem of the world. Missional is the word I want to use to describe the activity and mindset of consistently accepting God’s invitation to the extraordinary in life.
